I'm seventeen years old and live in Santa Cruz, California. I have a wide range of interests that stem from my passion for learning. Ever since second grade I have been captivated by the oceans. I knew I wanted to study marine science and have taken every chance I get to learn more. In resent years I have been branching out into many subjects. I have come to realize how much I enjoy interdisciplinary learning. My interests now include neuroscience, behavior, economics, evolution, and theology. I also enjoy various physical activities like swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, and running. My high school education has taught me the value of interdisciplinary education. I can use perspectives from everything I learn to better understand the world.
